Food is one of the top reasons to visit Hong Kong, and dim sum is the way to go. Dim sum is a collection of traditional Cantonese food usually eaten at brunch, and no city does it better than Hong Kong. Definitely try out Dim Dim Sum in Mong Kok and Wan Chai, as well as Tim Ho Wan. These places serve up dim sum throughout the day and have received multiple awards.
Being a city full of skyscrapers, the best place to view it is naturally from above. Visit Victoria Peak and Sky 100 to be amazed by the panoramic views of the city. Another alternative is to visit rooftop bars, which offer sky high drinks. Some great places are Wooloomooloo (Wan Chai) and Ce La Vi (Central).
Asia takes partying to the next level, and Hong Kong has a huge number of bars, pubs, and nightclubs to choose from. The main party area is Lan Kwai Fong which is a couple of streets lined with bars and clubs. Wan Chai offers great live music, and Tsim Sha Tsui has quieter bars. A great feature of nightlife in Hong Kong is that happy hours are everywhere and usually run throughout the entire night on weekdays.
From street food on Temple Street Night Market to Michelin-starred restaurants, visitors will be spoiled for choice when it comes to cuisine and price ranges. It's hard to find a less-than-great meal here!
An iconic part of Hong Kong and a testament to its rich culture and history, a ride on the Star Ferry is a must. Admire the panoramic view of the Victoria Harbour on the short ride that connects Central to Tsim Sha Tsui.
Another must-do experience, riding the double-decker trams are a fantastic way to do Hong Kong sightseeing. Get the front seat on the upper deck!
The city has everything from quirky shops on Ladies Street (Mong Kok) to designer brands in IFC Mall (Central) and Causeway Bay.

These are must-do experiences while in Hong Kong. When visiting Ngong Ping and Ocean Park, be sure to take the cable cars to go back down. These rides offer stunning visuals of the South China Sea and the surrounding city.
The city’s numerous long-standing buildings have become canvasses for the graffiti artists in Hong Kong. There’s a lot of aesthetically pleasing street art to be found in the lanes of Sham Shui Po, SoHo in Central, and Sheung Wan!
